Information, Advice & Guidance (IAG) Worker (Welsh Medium)
Provide comprehensive, confidential, and impartial information services on educational and training opportunities within the establishment
Develop appropriate fully bilingual information materials.
Support learners through initial assessments using a range of activities including computer-based testing if appropriate
Support learners to be able to produce an effective individual learning and work plan relevant to meeting their needs whilst in custody
Contribute to the effective allocation of learners to Learning & Skills provision
Support learners to review their action plan at significant points in their sentence
Provide action plans to other establishments to allow continuity of learning through the journey in custody
Ensure the safeguarding of learners
Ensure that learner records are accurate and maintained in line with data protection and agreed policies.
Compliance with Novus Cambria & stakeholder policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and prison security requirements
