Residential Children's Worker - Stoke
Applications are welcomed from Experienced Residential Children's Support Workers with proven ability to support young people who have been the victims of trauma and are extremely vulnerable.
Therapeutic Residential Children’s Worker's working within providing supervision and support for children and young people aged 8 - 18 within our registered children’s homes.
The salary for these roles will be dependent on the level of qualifications and experience. Level 3 Diploma Qualification in caring for children and young people or residential childcare is desirable.
The positions require Carers who are experienced in a children's residential provision, confident, dedicated and who possess an understanding of Attachment and Trauma and the effect that this has on young people. Successful applicants for the Children's Support Worker role will be expected to demonstrate commitment to training and development and must be capable of adapting their work practice to the ethos of the home.
Shift working, which can include working weekends and bank holidays and sleeping in.
Must be able to drive and have own vehicle available for work.
Salary: From £18,000 to £24,000 per Annum Depending on Experience, Qualifications and Shift Pattern
