Position required for competent and experienced warehouse person with current counterbalance fork lift truck licence and experience.
The role is working for a busy roadfreight operator loading / unloading collection / delivery vehicles and consolidating onto trunking trailers for export. Dealing with all types of freight including cartons and pallets the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following key skills.
- Excellent Fork lift truck skills ensuring the safe and efficient operation.
- Good understanding of the safe and efficient loading of multiple types of cargo to ensure trailers are maximised without risk of damage in transit.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines as part of a team
- Accurate completion of all paperwork, ensuring the precise condition and count of consignments are recorded into the warehouse and also out to a loading list for export
- Good levels of fitness and well being as the role does require significant amounts of manual handling.
- A reliable and committed approach to getting the job done.
Full uniform and PPE provided with ongoing training to ensure, competence of FLT is maintained and safe working practices are adhered to.
Experience within in a similar role is essential.
Shift is based on Monday to Friday 12.00 to 22.00hrs. Overtime is available on Weekends.
