We have a new exciting opportunity at West Suffolk Council to recruit for Front of House Manager vacancies. We have full and part time positions available working on an annualised hours basis (based on 37 hours per week or 18.5 hours per week), details of the scheme are available on request.  We are offering a salary of £19,939 - £23,935 pro rata plus unique benefits package

About the Front of House Manager role

Due to a restructure at the award winning events venue in Bury St Edmunds, we are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team on a flexible annualised basis to ensure the smooth and seamless delivery of the highest standards of customer care to both the performers and their audience.

Your role will be to ensure that the customers who come to the Apex and our other venues will have an experience which exceeds their expectations.  From orchestras to band nights, from weddings to discos, from civic events to wrestling, your work will involve meeting customers to discuss their event.  Under the direction of the Senior Front of House Manager, you will be responsible for the security and management of the venues the setting up and clearing down of events and the supervision of the stewards.

What we’re looking for in our Front of House Manager

You will have experience in a supervisory role and will possess effective communication skills, preferably with knowledge of health and safety. 

Hours are to be worked to meet the needs of the service and will vary from week to week but will include evenings and weekends. Further details of our annualised hours scheme will be provided on request.
