Due to accelerated growth, a fantastic and rare opportunity has become available for an Assistant Manager to join an award-winning retail company with a thriving online business, in addition to retail stores and showrooms throughout the UK. Based in Glasgow, the successful Assistant Manager will be working 40 hours per week, earning a basic salary of £24,000 with on target earnings between £30,000 - £35,000 uncapped.

As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Showroom Manager in the day-to-day management of the showroom, overseeing the performance of the sales advisors. Reporting to the Store Manager, your main duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Achieving/exceeding in store and phone KPI’s/Targets put in place.
  • Training store staff by reviewing and revising orientation to products and sales training materials
  • Leading, coaching and mentoring your team of sales advisors
  • Evaluating competition by gathering information such as style, quality, and prices of competitors
  • Preparing sales and customer relations reports
  • Maintaining inventory and anticipating customer demand
  • Preparing reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information
  • Maintaining quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
  • Carrying out end of day banking in line with company procedures
  • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and training seminars in house 
  • Providing analytical reports to display performance for the store
  • Sales order processing
  • Being responsible for processing cash and card payments
 
To be considered for the Assistant Manager position you must have previous experience of KPI’s with the ability to achieve/exceed them. In addition, you must possess the following key skills and experience:
