They are now looking for an Employment Advisor to join them where you will be required to work across the Training Division as required. This is a full time temporary contract where you are covering maternity leave.
As an Employment Advisor, you will proactively mentor, guide and support learners into sustainable employment opportunities. This will involve determining their employment goals and suitability for specific employment opportunities. The role also requires you to proactively identify suitable employment opportunities through developing relationships with local employers and internal sales teams. Providing 121 support, advice and guidance once the customer is in work, you will ensure sustainability and remove potential barriers to remain in work.
Achieving performance targets, you will engage with local and national employers to determine potential vacancies and placement opportunities, whilst also attending meetings with employers to secure new business and develop existing relationships and managing a caseload of customers.
They are looking for someone who is flexible and enthusiastic, who has the ability to meet challenging performance targets, can manage multiple deadlines and who can work well as part of a team. The ideal candidate will be a business development/sales focused person, who is able to deal directly with employers, can bring in sales and place people whilst also managing candidates who are looking to be placed within a role.
A high level of flexibility is essential as the role may require occasional evening and weekend work.
