Manage specific identified case load of learners providing appropriate pastoral support and coaching - sign posting them (where appropriate) to other providers within the prison to ensure they remain engaged in learning and self -development.
Provide support for those seeking to develop business and entrepreneurial activities through the embedding of SFEDI qualifications.
Referrals of learners onto other service providers (i.e. Betsi Cadwaladar) where appropriate.
Work closely with the all of the delivery teams and Prison Industry provider to identify those men requiring additional coaching support.
Effective liaison with all referral agencies internally and externally regarding the safeguarding and progression of learners.
Ensure accurate recording of data to ensure income generation is fully maximised
Contribute to ILWPs for all learners and ensure effective progression against profiled learner targets and outcomes
Support the quality assurance processes relating to training provision where appropriate
Ensure adherence to Health & Safety and environmental practices
Support the progression of learners in regard to ESW targets
To seek regular feedback from learners and action recommendations
To show initiative in planning and organising allocated tasks
To provide excellent and effective customer service
To ensure that allocated resources are effectively managed
