FINTEC recruit is seeking an HR / Employment Relations Adviser for approx. 6 months for our client in Inverness. Good employee relations and current employment law experience is required. There is some travel involved on occasions with this position and you would require to hold a current driving licence. There is a possibility that this role may be extended or become permanent but this can't be guaranteed at this stage.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a HR / Employment Relations Adviser your responsibilities will include the following:

· Disciplinary & Disciplinary Appeals
· Grievance and dispute resolution
· Suspensions
· Whistleblowing
· Discrimination
· Consultation and negotiation of contractual changes
· Performance Management - specifically capability
· Redundancy
· Absence/Occupational Health Referral Management
· Provide HR induction for all people managers and monitor and evaluate any additional training/coaching required to ensure competence and compliance with HR policies, procedures and processes
· Training and coaching in ER areas, legislative topics and HR processes
· Support in the effective resolution of all litigation matters including ACAS pre claim conciliation and Employment Tribunal claims
· Case manage all disciplinary appeals (in relation to dismissals) supported by the HR Administrator

Requirements:

The successful candidate for the HR/ Employment Relations Adviser role will have:-

· CIPD qualification or Employment Law Qualification

· Strong and up to date knowledge of employment law & HR best practice

· In depth experience of dealing with complex employee relations issues

· Experience in coaching, training and knowledge transfer
