Deputy Manager - Thurrock Services

£27,394-£30,480 pa

37.5 hours pw

A new post for a deputy manager has arisen within the company's Thurrock services. The Thurrock services consists of 2 homeless hostels located in the heart of Grays, a floating support service, an outreach service and a housing first service based out of Charles street hostel.


As the post-holder, you will be responsible for supporting the service manager in effectivity managing this varied and exciting service, ensuring that you continually seek to improve and develop the services, while achieving required targets.


To succeed, you will have experience of staff management and the ability to supervise and motivate staff. You will also have experience of working with vulnerable homeless or disadvantaged people, coupled with the knowledge and an understanding of their housing and support needs. Other requirements include the ability to set up, and manage new projects and deliver innovative solutions to issues arising in service delivery.
