Position: Lead Customer Insight Analyst
Location: West Midlands
Salary: £40000 - £55000 per annum

Our company client is a highly regarded international business who are actively looking to appoint a Lead Customer Insight Analyst for their thriving team based in the West Midlands. The team itself are adept at providing in depth analysis to various stakeholders typically within CVM. Analytics is at the heart of this organisation and plays a key role in shaping strategies and driving actions. The role is both technical with regards to the element of data analysis but also the ability to identify commercial opportunities is key. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team whilst offering both career development and business interaction.
Top responsibilities for this position will cover:
* Contributing to the development, implementation and maintenance of a management information, analysis and reporting framework that supports and informs timely and effective business management and decision making at all levels.
* Developing and recommend changes and improvements to operating models, procedures and practices based on subject matter expertise and understanding of the market best practice
* Developing and maintenance of highly complex queries to extract data from our existing databases, to deliver analysis across all of the bank's brands
* Checking the appropriateness of all analysis requests to ensure business units are making the best possible decisions based on known information. Puts forward own ideas and suggestions.
* Customer profiling and delivering models designed to improve business profitability.
* Mentor junior analysts within the team
Key skills and background required:
* Strong analytical background ideally within a Customer Insights team
* Confident user of database coding skills such as SAS, SQL or R
* Proven experience of delivering analytics projects
* The ability to interpret relevant data and to manager multiple tasks under pressure
* Strong commercial awareness and interpersonal skills
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills
* Role relevant qualifications, i.e. Degree level education in a numerate discipline
