Management Accountant

Our client, a manufacturing business in Peterborough, is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant on a permanent basis.

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant focussed on Profit Centre Reporting, Planning and Forecasting. This position is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual who is looking to be challenged and developed.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

* Key member of the accountable reporting team responsible for analysing division results - (with annual revenues of circa. $2.5billion)
* Submission of Corporate Results and Corporate Analysis
* Consolidating business plans and forecasts at the profit centre level
* Coordinating business plan and quarterly forecast activities
* Monthly corporate submissions and analysis


Essential
* Studying towards professional certification (ACA, CIMA,ACCA or equivalent)
* Previous management accounting experience
* First rate analytical skills, with the ability to summarise and present at director level
* The ability to demonstrate strong customer focus
* Previous experience of leadership, accountability, and effective communication skills at multiple levels.
* Initiative and innovation - ability to fit into a dynamic and fast moving Accounting team.
* Experienced user of Excel


Desirable
* Experienced user of Access and PowerPoint would be an advantage
