Accounts Assistant
Central London

Accounts Assistant required to join a growing and award winning Fintech Company based in Central London. PFS is a rapidly expanding B2B financial services company. We provide industry leading payments solutions to global brands, bank and government bodies and have products live in 19 countries.

The Accounts Assistant is responsible for providing financial and administrative duties in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations.

The Accounts Assistant reports to the Finance Manager and is responsible for providing cardholder bank account reconciliation and financial, administrative services. This includes processing and monitoring payments and expenditures and Sales invoice posting to the system. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will ensure that financial information's are accurate and up to date and that vendors and suppliers are paid within established time limits

Key Responsibilities:

* Posting Purchase and Sales invoices into Sage Line 50
* Posting the breakdown of monthly sales invoices into excel (Splitting the payments into non-Vat and VAT sections)
* Processing invoice payments on timely manner.
* On Daily/Monthly basis reconciliations of multi-currency bank accounts in Sage Line 50.
* On a daily basis Updating number of multi-currency Bank accounts into excel spreadsheet.
* Maintaining and filing of Bank statements folders.
* Monthly Expense and Commission Accruals posting.
* Monthly Revenue Accrual posting.
* Maintaining accrual and prepayment schedule.
* Keeping all ledgers up to date
* Administrative and ad-hoc duties

Knowledge:

Knowledge of accounts payable/accounts receivable and maintaining general ledgers. Bank posting and multi-currency Bank reconciliation's. Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial and other information.

Skills:

* Bookkeeping skills. Analytical and problem solving skills. Decision making skills.
* Effective verbal and listening communications skills. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy very effective organizational skills.
* Computer skills including the ability to operate computerized accounting, spreadsheet and word processing programs, and email at a highly proficient level. Sage 50 accounting software experience.
* Proven experience within a finance role. Ideally you will be studying towards a financial qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA).
