The Brothers of Charity Services in Lancashire are recruiting committed, reliable support workers to work full time, part time or on a casual (zero hours) basis. We have a variety of shift patterns available including days, nights, evenings and weekends.

We are looking for people to join us in the following teams:

Supported Living:- Working in houses with small groups of people who have a learning disability, providing support and training in a range of everyday living skills, enabling residents to live an independent life within the community. Most of the support provided is a 24 hour service and so the hours of work available will vary.

Vocational Enterprises:- Working in social enterprises that enable people to develop their employment skills and abilities in areas such as catering, printing and recycling, gardening and caring for small animals. Staff in these areas require practical skills and the ability to teach these skills to others.

Specialist Services:- Working with individuals who may have complex health needs, requiring constant specialist intervention to enable the individual to take a full part in their chosen activities, and individuals who may experience communication difficulties, which can lead to difficult and challenging behaviours.

Nursing & Respite:- Working in our small nursing and respite homes, providing specialist nursing care and high quality support for individuals who may require more personal and intensive assistance.
