Night Porter - The Spa Hotel

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Village to join a customer focused team as a full time Hotel Porter at the Spa Hotel.

Interested in:

A dedicated and reliable Porter to facilitate the smooth running of the Hotel. The chosen candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service; demonstrating a passionate approach to exceeding customers' expectations and promoting a professional and positive image to guests.

The chosen candidate will carry out a variety of duties including closing down of the Hydro areas, 24 hour room service, answering guest queries, answering the telephone to guests, check-in and billing, setting up for breakfast, as well as ensuring the safety and security of the Hotel and its guests. The successful candidate will also be required to drive guests to areas on the Village and coordinate the chauffeur service to the Restaurant. Due to the chauffeuring aspect of the role the ideal candidate must be at least 23 years of age and hold a full clean driving license.

The main duties of the role will be:


Offer a warm and welcoming reception, anticipating guest needs including Reception duties and luggage handling
Provide a prompt response to the service needs of customers throughout the night
Promote products to our customers where appropriate
Carry out Room service and late night Bar service, with limited cash handling
Maintain a safe, secure and hygienic environment for customers, staff and visitors throughout the night
Show commitment to training through participation,
Display full compliance and commitment to Core standards.
Any other duties deemed necessary by the Management Team at the Spa Hotel

Availability

The position is full time: with a working pattern of 4 shifts on followed by 4 shifts off. The normal hours of work are 42 per week and the role is likely to cover shifts from 7p.m - 7a.m.

Full flexibility to work weekends is essential.

Previous experience of night work is desirable.
