We are looking dedicated Home Care Assistants to work full or part time hoursin Egham, Surrey. We have a range of shifts available, including days, nights and weekends - allowing you to tailor your rotas to suit your availability.

As a Home Care Assistant, you will provide essential care and support to a Young Adult in her own home, who lives with a range of complex healthcare needs. It’s essential that you’ve worked in a similar role previously, however full training and a client-specific induction will be provided.

Our ideal candidate will have gained experience through working with any of the following:

  • PEG
  • Severe Learning and Physical Disabilities
  • Epilepsy Management

Within your role you will be responsible for assisting with key health provision functions, including administering medication, pain relief and various domestic and healthcare tasks to assist the service user with her day to day living. We are able to up-skill applicants if required.

You will form an integral part of the Newcross Complex Care at Home Team in this varied and rewarding role, delivering person-centred care in accordance with personalised care plans that enrich lives. You will have access to comprehensive training and 24 hour support, and in order to ensure that you always have enough work you will be employed on a permanent, flexible contract with guaranteed hours.

  • Right to live and work in the UK
  • At least 3 months’ previous paid experience working in a similar role in the UK within the last 3 years
  • Referee contact details for your current place of work, including a manager who can comment on your clinical ability, and for all employments in the past 18 months or your 3 most recent jobs.  
  • NVQ2 / SVQ2 in Health and Social Care highly preferable
