Settlement Analyst - Harrogate - Permanent - GBP20,000- GBP22,000

iSource IT are recruiting a Settlement Analyst for a well-established and market leading company based in Harrogate.

You will be responsible for the daily settlement for prescribed clients in accordance with prescribed procedures and protocols ensuring that contractual deadlines are adhered to and that all queries, problems and incidents are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.

Key duties of this role:

• Checking and Reconciling settlement figures within area of responsibility, paying attention to any anomalies.
• Liaising with members where discrepancies in settlement amounts are identified and advising the CRLSS manager of any discrepancies and seeking solutions on behalf of members.
• Checking and monitoring file transfers processed by MasterCard and VISA, resolving any discrepancies and advising MasterCard and VISA customers of their settlement positions.

Essential:

• Proven ability to manage time critical and deadline orientated workload.
• Demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrates interpersonal skills that cover influencing, negotiation, consultation, conflict resolution and assertiveness.
• Proven organisational skills.
• Proven numerical skills.
• Experience of using Excel and Outlook.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of ITIL process and methodologies.
• Experience in an IT Service delivery environment.
• Good understanding of the financial payments industry.

The salary for this role is GBP20,000- GBP22,000 plus excellent benefits package.
