A fantastic opportunity has arisen at Gocompare.com for an enthusiastic PPC Executive to manage and optimise the paid search campaigns of Gocompare.com, joining the team on 12 month fixed term contract.

Experience Required

• Educated to degree level in Marketing, Business or Maths, or equivalent work experience
• Google AdWords Partner (GAP) certified and/or Bing Ads accreditation (or currently working towards these)
• Working knowledge of the search marketing platforms of Google and Bing, including Bing AdCentre and Google AdWords
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively with the wider digital marketing team, but also be independent
• An analytical approach and problem solving ability
• Working knowledge on Microsoft Excel (desirable)
• Experience of working with a bid management tools such as Double Click (desirable)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise paid search campaigns
• Continually analyse and review campaign performance, to identify the most successful techniques
• Create and test web pages to increase conversation rates and the subsequent return on investment
• Manage the spend over all search platforms, ensuring maximum delivery of targets within budget

Key Interfaces

• Liaise with the account managers of external partners including Google, Bing and DoubleClick, to ensure Gocompare.com are up to date with developments and trends in the marketplace of PPC and that Gocompare.com maintains its competitive edge
• Communicate with Finance to advise on campaign performance against budget
• Liaise with wider departments throughout Gocompare, and external third parties, to ensure the data specifications, segmentation and requirements of Pay-Per-Click are all accurately reported
