Assembly Manager
Merthyr Tydfil (CF48 1YH)

Triumph Furniture are looking for a well experienced Assembly Department Manager to introduce a performance, target driven environment to ensure future organisation success.

The main purposes of the Assembly Manager

  • Full day to day responsibility of the Assembly Department, associated activities and personnel.
  • Also responsible for all component stores and associated personnel, including managing of receipts from manufacturing.
  • The introduction and maintenance of standard work and standard operations within the department.
  • Generating and working to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Assist the Production Director in the preparation of annual budgets.
  • All aspects of health and safety (compliance and training) within the department.
  • Introduce positive changes into the department.

The Ideal candidate

  • You will have a proven background in a manufacturing or production capacity.
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Track record of meeting demand operating deadlines and KPI's
  • Experience with requirement planning and capacity planning
