GP Strategies Ltd (GPSL) is looking to recruit a Project Co-ordinator to join their team based in London. GPSL, a subsidiary of GP Strategies Corporation (NYSE:GPX), is a global performance improvement company. GPSL supports organisations in improving their ability to service their customer's needs through innovative and creative training interventions, consulting, and business improvement solutions.

Based in London you will be responsible for providing the project team with administration and co-ordination support.

As a Project Co-ordinator your duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Producing correspondence and documents for the team using a variety of software packages such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Updating and maintaining presentations using PowerPoint
  • Maintaining records, spreadsheets, trackers and databases
  • Creating and maintaining filing systems
  • Diary management – arranging meetings / appointments for the management team and client organisations using Outlook
  • Taking minutes at meetings where required
  • Booking meeting rooms and conference facilities
  • Liaising with colleagues and external contacts to book travel and accommodation
  • Liaising with staff in other departments and with external contacts
  • Managing the incoming and outgoing post
  • Maintaining the supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies
  • Ordering and maintaining stationary and equipment supplies
  • Photocopying and printing various documents and well as all other administrative tasks

The role will cover a wide range of activities so we are looking for someone that can manage and prioritise multiple projects and tasks.

An ideal Project Co-ordinator will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Have a proven track record within an administration and co-ordination role where you will have supported a team.
  • Any experience within the training or education management industry would desirable however is not essential.
  • Extensive experience in Microsoft Office packages especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint are required. Any experience using MS Project would be desirable.
  • Strong reporting skills, the ability to manage processes and excellent problem skills are also required. Experience of analysing information, supply management and inventory control are also essential.
  • In addition exceptional communication skills both verbal and written, a professional and flexible approach to work, the ability to prioritise, high attention to detail, first class organisation and networking skills are also essential. You must also be able to work well both as part of a team and under your own initiative.
