One of the fastest growing technology businesses in the UK is looking for one full time, permanent logistics person plus they have two full time contract logistics roles lasting at least 3 months based at their Nottingham offices.

In this role you will be working with smart phones and tablets, setting them up from scratch, loading on company software, testing and re testing them before organising their shipment around the globe. This is a methodical, attention to detail job with a good degree of repetition. They have a small, friendly and very busy team so you would be guaranteed to have plenty to do and lots to learn!

They would love to hear from people with logistical experience but it is by no means essential. They are prepared to train up anyone who comes to them with a high attention to detail, strong organisational skills can demonstrate that they can work to deadlines.

They have recruited new graduates and experienced professionals into this role in the past. Many have joined them on contract and then taken on permanent roles and indeed been promoted into other parts of the business so they are confident that there will be development opportunities in both the logistics team and other departments.

The Key elements of the job are

- Under the guidance of the supervisor, unpacking devices, logging details and checking in mobile devices using an Inventory Management Tool, installing SIM cards, and installing company software and applications.
- Follow a project specific script to configure and set up mobile devices and ancillaries.
- Preparing devices for shipment, packaging and ensuring the phones are dispatched on time, to the correct specification, and in the correct quantity.

Some examples of their current clinical studies include several new cancer drugs and various diabetes projects. They also work in respiratory health with asthma sufferers and on a long term study to reduce the risk of premature babies.
