Inside Sales Administrator
Merthyr Tydfil (CF48 1YH)
Reports to:
Inside Sales Team Leader
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- 20 outbound calls per day
- Inbound sales calls
- Liaising with other departments( quotes, customer service, purchasing, design, order entry, sales co-ordinators and the factories)
- Chasing quotes from the previous day
- Making BDM appointments where possible/necessary
- Building relationships with key accounts
- Opening new accounts
- Servicing quotes when there is an overflow
- Keeping the CRM up to date and factual
- Email management, and prompt actions taken in response
- Filling in and following up special enquiries
- Cover Sales co-ordinators inboxes and diaries when required
- Cover Inside sales personnel when absent
- Reporting to directors on project, sales, pricing and discounts
Administration:
- Ensure any pricing and product enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner via email, call transfers and internal.
- Ensure samples are issued.
- Ensure small quotations and lead time enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Ensure all order confirmations, amendments to orders and delivery issues are reported to customer services and cases raised.
- Report all damages of deliveries.
- Check large orders before they are sent to team leader.
- Raise cases RFQ's.
- Input daily quotes to vTiger in order for IS to chase (adding the case and documents to the ‘to-do').
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Microsoft Office/Word/Excel and Outlook.
