CARETAKER/CLEANER-IN-CHARGE
Local Government Pay Scale Band 2 (mid-point):
spinal point range 11-14.
The hours will be 7:30am - 9:00am and 2:45pm - 5:15pm.
20 hours per week over 5 days per week for 52 weeks per year.
25 days holiday per year (includes 5 public holidays) to be taken during school closure periods.
Actual salary range £8,220 to £8,774 per annum.
We are a vibrant, happy and successful school in this thriving Essex village. We are looking to appoint a Caretaker/Cleaner-in-Charge to join our friendly team.
Your main duties would be to maintain the school site to the highest standard.
Tasks include key holder duties; managing cleaning staff; cleaning; general repairs; redecoration; routine equipment checks; health and safety works; liaising with staff/contractors and grounds maintenance.
This could involve evening lettings and possible weekends, although this is rare.
