£20,061.00 - £22,933.00 per annum
The purpose of the role of Admin Assistant is to provide a range of administrative assistance to a specialist department, and to contribute to the achievement of departmental and business-wide objectives.
Principle Accountabilities
- Operates office systems, to process work, maintain accurate records and access information in support of departmental activities.
- Provides effective administrative support to the members of the team as required.
- Resolves enquiries from both internal and external sources, providing written, face to face or telephone responses as appropriate with a customer centric approach.
- Compiles and provides routine information using computer systems as necessary in accordance with relevant procedures and guidelines, in order to provide management information.
- Assists in supporting departmental activities by carrying out administrative duties, such as arranging meetings, receiving and collating information and processing documents and correspondence.
- Provide Management Information and statistics as required.
- Operate in compliance with NGN policy and procedures, including data protection and information security policy.
- General Ad Hoc administration work when required
The Candidate
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent Communication skills (written /oral)
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Flexible approach to working across broad topic areas, locations and meeting tight timescales.
- Experience in using Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
The Package
- 10 month fixed term contract
- NS2 grade - £20,061.00 - £22,933.00 per annum
- 25 days annual leave plus recognised bank holidays (per annum)
- 40 hours per week
