Our client, a firm of accountants in Romford are looking for a Tax & Payroll Assistant, experienced in the following:

-Payroll - using Moneysoft - process payroll, prepare payslips, file RTI Returns
-Auto-Enrolment - register a scheme, deal with compliance
-VAT - producing, checking, submitting Returns
-CIS - preparing and filing monthly Contractor Returns
-Corporation Tax - preparing and filing Returns, using accountancy practice software (Iris, TaxCalc)
-Self-Assessment - preparing and filing Returns (Iris/TaxCalc)
-Dealing directly with HMRC regarding general queries
-Registering businesses for taxes and dealing with the administration

Our client is a small (but growing), friendly business, and you must be able to work within a team. You must be flexible, able to work to deadlines and have a good sense of humour. A part timer would be considered although this is likely to develop into a full-time position.
