A post has arisen within a very successful Hospitality and Travel Department, for a Course Leader and Chef Lecturer with experience of teaching across levels 1 -3. The ideal candidate for this demanding role is an experienced chef with up to date industry experience.

You will demonstrate extensive knowledge of your subject area together with the drive and passion to motivate students to achieve. The experience and confidence to plan prepare and deliver effective teaching programmes, including the use of Information technology. The Department has enjoyed significant involvement and success in national competitions. We are looking to recruit someone who has the passion, experience and drive to grow curriculum in this area and to take it forward to improved success,

The successful post holder will be required to teach across a range of qualifications offered by the College with particular responsibility for the; quality assurance and teaching and learning; planning and delivery of our Level 1 2 and 3 Study Programmes. The post holder will be involved with enhancing the delivery of the curriculum to ensure innovative and active student learning to equip students with the skills, attributes and experience required for their future careers.

We welcome applications from suitable candidates with; an appropriate teaching qualification, or those who are willing to achieve this in the short term and ideally with relevant experience within the Further Education sector, relevant industry experience is a pre-requisite. Thorough subject knowledge, at a practical and theoretical level, is essential for the position.
