Job Title: Customer Support

Location: Bath

Salary: £15,600 Pro Rata

Position: 20 hours per week

The role is with a charity supporting socially excluded people ensuring that they are supported and empowered to build sustainable, independent lives.

The organisation was set up to offer direct support to some of the most marginalised people in society - the homeless. Initially this was limited to offering food and shelter. Over time other projects and services have been developed which not only address the symptoms of homelessness but also the underlying reasons why men and women are forced onto the streets.

Job Role:

The organisation is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Customer Support worker to join their front of house team based at their head office in Bath. You will be expected to provide an excellent all round administration service plus work collaboratively with your colleagues to ensure an excellent service for anyone who walks through the door.

You will be the first point of contact in many respects and your positive contribution will help enable and engage some of the most vulnerable members of the society.

Essential skills:

  • Experience in a customer facing role
  • Ability to prioritise work and work independently
  • Experience of working independently to tight deadlines
  • Excellent working knowledge and function of Microsoft Word, Excel and other
  • Microsoft software
  • Highly numerate and competent in using computerised data inputting systems
