TRS Training Ltd specialise in the delivery of Apprenticeship training to manufacturing and logistics companies throughout the UK. An exciting opportunity has arisen to deliver Apprenticeship training for our client Specsavers based at their Manufacturing facility in Kidderminster where we have been appointed as their training partner to deliver qualifications in PMO and BIT We require an ambitious, fully qualified, assessor who can assess a caseload of around 40 learners in any of these vocations. Duties will include:

  • Provide motivation and support to the learners
  • Ensure learner enrolment and completion targets are met
  • Ensure a high quality of delivery is maintained
  • Planning, training, mentoring and assessing candidates on clients premises working towards Level 2 and 3 Apprenticeship qualifications
  • Delivering Functional Skills as part of the Apprenticeship programme
  • Managing own caseload and diary
  • Ensuring accurate completion of paperwork for Head Office on a weekly basis
  • Organising and attending client meetings talking through the benefits of the Apprenticeship qualifications, discussing and agreeing on the most suitable course for the individual and the company
  • Ensuring the company complies with the necessary Health and Safety legislation
  • Liaising with Internal Verifiers, External Verifiers, Managers, Candidates and Employees
  • Attendance at standardisation and tracking meetings

Essential qualifications and experience required:

  • To hold either: A1, TAQA or equivalent
  • Able to work well individually and as part of team
  • Excellent knowledge of NVQ's/WBL,
  • Experience within relevant occupational sector
  • Experience of prioritising workload and meeting deadlines
  • Experience of assessing one or more of the above vocational areas
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Full driving licence with own vehicle
  • Experience of delivering full apprenticeship frameworks

Desirable skills/experience:

  • Occupationally competent in other sectors
  • PTLLS/DTLLS/QTLLS or equivalent
  • V1 or equivalent

Required licences or certifications: TAQA (Training, Assessment, Quality and Assurance), A1
