Driver - Class 1

The Canute Group require Class 1 drivers to collect and deliver fork lift trucks.  The role requires the vehicles to work from Maidenhead but the driver can be based anywhere as the work area covers Cornwall, East Anglia, South Wales and everywhere below the Midlands.

The Canute Group has a specialist contract operation with vehicles based in Maidenhead which cover the whole of the South of England and Wales. The Canute Group continue to be one of the fastest growing, global supply chain providers operating today providing a range of logistic solutions including road haulage, freight forwarding, supply chain management and storage solutions.

The vehicles used on this contract are 44 tonne Scania’s with curtain sided step frame trailers with Hydraulic rear door ramps.  

An ideal Class 1 Driver will require a Fork lift licence and preferably IPAF qualification.

Drivers will travel to Maidenhead Monday morning and home Friday evening having 4 nights out per week.

In return for this you will receive an annual basic salary for 50 hours per week of £29,700 plus overtime plus nights out.
