Our award winning Service Desk has big growth planned for 2016. We are currently recruiting for Technical Analysts to provide 1st line support to our clients. Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week
Between 7am - 8pm, Monday to Saturday. Full flexibility required.
Location:
Based at Waterton Industrial Estate, Bridgend. Please look into transport links for role. Free car parking on site
You will be required to:
- Be readily available to answer the phone to our clients in a professional and efficient manner
- Provide front line troubleshooting, diagnostics and to provide technical fixes
- Support a variety of custom made/bespoke applications, Microsoft applications and desktop applications as well as a variety of off-the-shelf industry tools
- Support networks, hardware and printers etc
- Actively employ, share and contribute to the company's knowledge base
- Manage open incidents in line with industry best practice guidelines
- Support local and global clients
- Take control, understand goals and own your performance.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- A sound knowledge of IT including an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Applications
- Problem solving
- Trouble shooting
- Good written and spoken communication skills
- Able to work under your own initiative as well as part of a team
- Punctual and reliable, with a flexible attitude
Desirable Skills/Experience:

- Previous experience working on a Service Desk
- An understanding of working to service level agreements
- Knowledge of Active Directory
- ITIL awareness
