Teaching Assistant
Part Time Temporary
Required to start January 2017 - Scale B - this position will be temporary in the first instance for 26.25 hours per week x 39 weeks per year
The successful candidate will be based in one of our KS2 classrooms to support the class teacher in the delivery of the curriculum. The successful candidate should enjoy working with children and have an understanding on how to raise standards. We are a welcoming, warm and caring school with a strong Christian ethos.
The successful candidate will:
- Be educated to NVQ level II or III or above
- Be enthusiastic, hardworking and creative and possess the ability to develop positive behaviour.
- Have a good rapport with children.
- Resourceful and committed to enable children to achieve their full potential
- Have classroom experience.
- Support the class teacher in the delivery of the curriculum
- Have an understanding on how to raise standards so pupils can reach their full potential
- Possess excellent Numeracy and Literacy skills
