We have an exciting opportunity, located at our EMEA IT headquarters in Bradford, reporting to the Development Manager and working with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Functional Analysts and other Developers for an experienced C# .Net Developer to work as part of a small team primarily developing and supporting our unique Pan European Pricing application.

We Are Looking For:

Key Skills:

+ Strong C# development skills
+ Proven experience with .NET WinForms (not WPF or WinForms in VB6)
+ MS-SQL Server experience in Data Definition Language (DDL), T-SQL, developing stored procedures and functions
+ Experience using an ORM tool
+ Design skills with the ability to document requirements and specifications and have a working knowledge of UML

+ Familiarity with software development methodology and release processes, preferably Agile (Scrum/ Kanban)
+ Experience using Team Foundation Server for Source Control
+ Web services and web application development primarily in Microsoft technologies.
+ Proficiency in Team Foundation Server for Agile Planning/ Collaboration, and Test Case Management
+ Proficiency in Microsoft web technologies including MVC 5, ASP.NET, IIS, etc.
+ Proficiency in web technologies including HTML/DHTML/XHTL, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap 3, AJAX JSON, Web Services, XML, DTD/XSD, etc.
+ Proficiency in SSAS and SSIS

Key Responsibilities:

+ Design, develop and maintain applications to agreed specifications, service level agreements and timescales.
+ Prepare documentation to ensure BIS teams have the knowledge and information to support developed applications.
+ Define test plans to assist with functional testing of developed applications.
+ Assist in the definition of application development policies and standards.
+ Provide expert knowledge to Functional & Systems Analysts to help define appropriate application solutions.
+ Provide application support to System Analysts and Systems Support Specialists as required.
+ Represent IT on project teams as assigned.

Other Information:

+ Ideally you will hold a full UK driving license
+ UK based travel will be infrequently required
+ EMEA wide travel may be infrequently required
