Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper

Full Time or Part Time
Our client is an Oxfordshire Chartered Accountants based in Eynsham. This team of friendly and professional advisers specialise in compliance and business advisory services, both to private and corporate clients.
Due to expansion, they are now looking for either a full time or part time Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper to join their expanding team.
The Accounts team services a client base of some 800 clients ranging from local businesses needing a general compliance service through to complex individual tax planning and corporate strategy.
The role:
As a full time or part time Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper you will receive on the job training with guidance provided by qualified members of staff. The role will involve all aspects of bookkeeping and preparation of VAT Returns
What will you need?
Applicants should be experienced in all aspects of bookkeeping and preparation of VAT returns and must have the ability to learn new computerised systems. It would be beneficial to have previous experience in Xero software.
In additional you’ll also need to display:
• Great organisation skills, with close attention to detail
• Have a conscientious attitude to work and willingness to learn
• Ability to work on your own / part of a team
• Excel knowledge is desirable
