Waking Nights Care Supervisor

Being a Waking Nights Care Supervisor at RNIB College Loughborough is an opportunity to join a friendly, flexible team, receive training and support students who are partially sighted, blind or have other disabilities.

You will supervise the night shift, co-ordinating and delivering a person centred support service for learners. This will include providing personal support, administering regular and emergency medication and monitoring their safety in compliance with relevant legislation.

You will also support the Registered Manager and Deputy Registered Manager in overseeing the quality of service provided for learners by support workers.

You will also have delegated management responsibility for staff on site, with specific line management responsibility for allocated staff.

If you have relevant health and social care experience in a similar role we would be delighted to hear from you.

NVQ / QCF level 3 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent qualifications would be an advantage, however the willingness to achieve these within two years of employment is essential. Full training will be provided.

Salary: £18,510 - £20,165 pro rata (£9.86 - £10.74 per hour)

Location: RNIB College Loughborough

Hours: Hours for this role are 31.5 per week, term time only (39 weeks plus holiday pay). Annualised hours apply to this post.
