We have a new exciting opportunity, not to be missed! At NDCS we are currently looking for a Regional Deputy Coach / Deputy Manager to join our team covering the Scotland area. The successful candidate will join us on a full time basis. We are offering an hourly rate of £10.50-£12.00 per hour + OTE based on experience.

NDCS help by offering free information and support to families including a free phone helpline, specialist advisers, the listening bus, family events and more so parents can rely on us from initial diagnosis through to adulthood. 

What’s the Regional Deputy Coach / Deputy Manager role all about?

The purpose of the role is to assist the Coach to manage and deliver Scottish regions in-house Face-to-Face Fund-raising (F2F) programme for NDCS, which delivers long-term, quality supporters with benchmarked KPI's at the lowest possible cost and supports the charity’s regular giving programme. Accountable at all times for the successful performance of the Scotland campaign, the Regional Deputy Coach / Deputy Manager reports into the Scotland Coach and will be monitored and targeted on NDCS key KPI's.

What are the responsibilities of the Regional Deputy Coach / Deputy Manager?

Strategic

- Assists the Coach on the development and implementation of a coherent strategy for the recruitment and retention of long-term supporters.

- Analyses and evaluates the regional in-house F2F programme on an on-going basis, liaising with and providing recommendations to the Scotland Coach.

- Takes responsibility for maintaining KPI's and is swift and decisive in addressing and combating any areas of under performance.

Operational

- Works with the Coach to recruit and maintain the Scotland section of in-house F2F fundraisers.

- Liases with Coach for plans to hold interviews for fundraisers.

- Assisting the Coach in the identification, training, management and retaining Team Leaders and Fundraisers.

- Assisting the Coach in delivering ongoing training for fundraisers and team leaders.

- Works alongside the Coach to book, evaluate and manage the regional sites diaries.

- Ensures Team leaders and Fundraisers are trained and managed on all areas of NDCS and PFRA standards and that all rules, delineations and expectations are adhered to.

- Liaises with the Scottish Coach to keep complaints to a minimum and where these occur takes swift and conclusive action.

- Works to build and maintain high standards of representation for the NDCS in-house campaign.

- Conducts site visits to ensure standards and objectives are being met.

Managerial

- Ensures relevant reporting and administrative processes are maintained throughout the regional campaign.

- Conducts regular and SMART targeted 121's with team leaders and fundraisers, reviewing all KPI's. Ensures SMART 121's are taking place throughout all levels of the regional campaign.

- Develops team leaders ensuring an able and well trained deputy is in place at all times.

- Analyses KPI reports by team and provides action and solution to combat shortfall/maintain performance.

- Assist in monitoring section and individual no-show and attrition rates and work with Team Leaders to plan and implement any training, development and disciplinary actions. 

General

- Upholds and promotes the Charity’s commitment to diversity and the benefits it brings and complies with the policies and procedures.

- Undertakes any other duties as may be reasonably required by the Scotland Coach.

- Is open to develop, alter and diversify the in house campaign.
