Opportunity to start a new apprenticeship in NVQ in Team Leadership in a frontline political campaigning role

The Role

The "Campaign" Apprentice will work alongside - and learn from - experienced regional political campaign teams for the Conservative Party. You will be involved in wide-ranging campaign projects and learn to lead groups of volunteers whilst working towards a nationally recognised NVQ Level 2 in Team Leadership over a 12 month period. This role is for an initial term of 12 months which it is hoped will develop in to a permanent contract. Working hours will be varied and sometimes long so you will need to flexible in your approach.

The Person

To begin your Apprenticeship you will need to be both highly organised and a team player with strong communication skills. You will be a self-starter capable of using your initiative, working independently and be willing to learn from others to develop your own skills and experience for the medium to long term.

The start date for this Apprenticeship is January 2017 for an initial term of 12 months which it is hoped will develop in to a permanent contract.

To qualify for an apprenticeship, you must be at least 16, have 5 good GCSEs including Maths and English and eligible to work in the UK. Training for the "Team Leading NVQ/QCF" Certificate is based around:

  • Customer service
