Yorkshire Coast based College's Apprenticeship Hub project has an exciting opportunity to appoint 2 x Trainer/Assessors to provide excellent facilitation of teaching,learning and outstanding assessment practices for learners.
A work based learning role, the Assessor will develop employer relationships to address skills shortages of their employees within the York, North Yorkshire and East Riding Local Enterprise Partnership (The LEP) region through the Apprenticeship Hub project which is funded through the European Social Fund (ESF). The Assessor will be responsible for employer liaison, recruitment, induction, employer and employee reviews,supervision and progress tracking of learners on accredited and non-accreditedprogrammes which aims to provide employees with the opportunities to develop the skills that will allow them to progress into apprenticeship posts.
As a fully qualified assessor in relevant vocational subjects you will have specialist knowledge in the delivery and assessment of NVQs / QCF qualifications and functional skills; particularly knowledge and understanding of the ILR for SFA and ESF funding. You will be competent in the use of IT, be flexible and adaptable and have excellent organisational and administrative skills
The posts are fixed term for 18 months with a salary of £23,000, subject to qualifications and industrial experience. For more information on the post please apply and we shall contact you via email.
