SQL Server Operator – Superb Company - Lincoln
Salary to £30k dependant on experience
+ Bonus Scheme relating to company and personal performance.
+ Pension Scheme (3% after 3 months probationary period)
+ 25 days holiday plus an extra day per full year of service up to 5 years (30 days max)
Our client is a highly innovative decision technology company, specialising in analysing retailer data. They are extremely successful in their field and their portfolio of clients includes one of the world’s largest food manufacturers, along with 50+ other global brands.
They are looking for an experienced SQL Server Operator to join their Business Analytics team. The role combines database design, development and maintenance.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Building, Maintaining and Interrogating SQL Server databases.
Experience of the following would be advantageous:
- ETL
- Designing, building and customising business reports
- OLAP Cubes
- PHP or Android app development
You will be working with a small team to design and develop new functionality within the company’s existing product set. This will include designing new database structures, writing stored procedures, manipulating data using the full suite of MS SQL Server tools (SSIS, SSAS and SSRS).
You will be expected to liaise with clients and data providers to ensure the smooth flow of data between the company’s systems and to complete ad-hoc analysis, support data exchanges and take on some system administration responsibilities.
