Joining an Airbus Apprenticeship programme could be the ideal start to your career, just as it has been for many of our Senior Managers today. We consider our apprentices to be ideally qualified, with the necessary skills, knowledge and experience to enable them to make an immediate contribution when they enter the workforce.
All our Apprenticeship programmes are around three to four years in duration and are undertaken at Airbus' UK sites and at our
partnership colleges and universities.
The Supply Chain organisation manages the supply base of hundreds of external suppliers responsible for parts and materials utilised during the wing manufacture process for all programmes in Broughton and A400M in Filton. This Higher Apprenticeship gives you the opportunity to gain valuable experience within this vital department, supporting the wide range of innovative aircraft produced by Airbus.
Along with on-the-job experience, Airbus is leading the way with this programme through which you will also achieve a variety of qualifications including Essential Skills Level 3/ Functional Skills Level 2, NVQ Level 2 in Performing Engineering Operations (PEO), BTEC Level 2 Certificate in Supply Chain Management, CIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply) Level 5 and NVQ Level 3 in Logistics Operations Management, amongst others.
In addition to your work placements and studies, there are a number of valuable training opportunities that cover a variety of subjects as well as encouraging you to get involved in education and community projects to broaden your experience and develop skills along the way.
To apply, you must have minimum of:
¤ At least two A Levels at grade B or above including business studies or a Btec National Diploma in Business Studies
¤ Six GCSEs at grade C or above including Maths and English.
