The Communications and Marketing department is looking to appoint a creative individual with strong Social Media and Web based communications and marketing skills to join their team based on our stunning Penryn Campus in Cornwall. This role will be critical in supporting us as a UK Top 10 University as well as our global ambitions of the coming academic year and beyond. One of the main projects you will assist on will be to drive forward our student recruitment initiatives and to continue to attract the brightest and dynamic students out there, but this is only one of many diverse projects across the Penryn Campus as well as the wider University that you will have an opportunity to support and gain experience in.
You will do this primarily across Social Media and the Web, but within an inclusive team across multiple media, and support them where necessary. This is an interesting opportunity for a highly organised individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills, who has the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people in a professional manner. The post holder is required to have a creative mind, excellent copywriting and IT skills, as well as a strong attention to detail and be able to plan and prioritise a busy and varied workload in the face of conflicting demands.
The University offers some fantastic benefits including generous holiday entitlements, options for flexible working, an onsite gym, parking and a stunning campus environment in the heart of Exeter. Take a look at our careers site ( www.exeter.ac.uk/working ) for more information.
The University of Exeter is an equal opportunity employer which is 'Positive about Disabled People'. Whilst all applicants will be judged on merit alone, we particularly welcome applications from groups currently underrepresented in the workforce.
