Quality Engineer

Interaction Recruitment are looking for a Quality Engineer to join a globally renowned Midlands based manufacturer. You will be working with suppliers to improve the quality of incoming goods as well as the development of staff members to ensure a high quality of internally manufactured products. Improve the monitoring of processes to enable fewer routine testing failures, whilst improving product quality and proactive behaviour. Essential requirements ?? Previous quality engineering experience, with a manufacturing industry ?? Mechanical engineering knowledge ?? Thorough understanding of Quality Tools, Standards and modern Manufacturing Philosophies ?? Experience with quality management systems; process flow & procedure, inspection & test plan (knowledge of PPAP, ISO 14001/18001/9001) ?? Ability to respond in a positive way and work effectively within a management structure ?? Be self-motivated whilst achieving goals and objectives ?? Good communication skills with the ability to use own initiative ?? Able to adapt to change/flexible Salary & Benefits 0800-1630 working hours GBP30,000 - GBP36,000 per annum 21 days holiday plus bank holiday days Pension
