Currently, we are in the process of developing a refurbishment scheme for the The Ram Inn. The pub is an attractive community site, located in Whittlesey (near Peterborough), Cambridgeshire. It ideally stands on the main road into the village. The local population has a high proportion of traditional pub goers and this presents an excellent opportunity for a community oriented operator to build a loyal customer base.
Future Vision
Currently trading as a straightforward wet led pub, the future vision is to premiumise the offer and broaden its appeal by introducing food and coffee.
The Ram Inn currently trades on a 2am licence, reflecting the trade prospect. The pub is also well known locally for live music and has established sports teams.

If you have excellent hospitality skills with previous experience of implementing and growing a good food and drink offer, we want to hear from you. Finally, the ideal candidate will be well funded to ensure a sustainable business while developing this exciting opportunity.
Applicants should be aware that all refurbishments are subject to final board approval which will be determined as part of the leasing process. Where a significant investment is made in a pub by Star Pubs & Bars, an "Investment Exemption" will be required. The exemption means that the option of a Market Rent Option lease won't be available at rent review for a period of up to seven years for this site, as per The Pub Code (2016).
Private Accommodation
The private accommodation at the Ram Inn consists of two bedrooms, lounge, kitchen and bathroom and where required there will be appropriate works carried out in line with the Star Pubs & Bars Ready to Trade Promise.
