They are looking for someone to join them within a new role, working as part of their website development department.
The right candidate will need to be able to competently create websites & maintain them to the highest of standards, using industry standard programs, whilst sticking to strict deadlines. They use Seller-Deck as their e-commerce platform linked directly into SAP Business One which is their internal system.
- You must have a very steady employment history & proven background to be considered for this position.
- You need to have experience in building e-commerce websites using industry standard platforms & languages. They use Seller Deck as an e-commerce platform, you will need experience in this or similar.
- You must be able to manage your time & prioritise tasks
- You need to be able to perform exceedingly well under pressure.
- You must be able meet strict deadlines & targets.
Responsibilities:
- Building new web-sites, using their pre-built template
- Managing all in-house websites & on-line platforms including E-Bay & Amazon
- Importing of new product data, to include pricing formulas & quality control of content & imagery
- Updating pre-existing products on web-sites (stock, prices, images, technical details)
- Creating marketing literature (e-shots, mail shots, leaflets)
- Test & measure marketing techniques, website ranking results & visitor reaction whilst using websites
- Marketing channels (Google Ad Words, Bing, Amazon, E-Bay)
- Coding in HTML, CSS, XML, Javascript, PHP
Essentials Skills & Experience:
- PHP
- JavaScript
- CSS
- HTML
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Actinic e-commerce software
- SEO (search engine optimisation)
- Managing PPC (pay per click marketing)
- Image manipulation & optimisation using Photo-shop / Paint Shop Pro
- Google accounts
- Google Analytics & Web Master Tools
- Amazon / E-Bay
- Product video creation (recording, editing & voice overs)
- You Tube
- Access databases, Spreadsheets & CSV files
