Collections Agent

Are you interested in working within Financial Services? Are you looking to kick start a career in Arrears? With our clients recent growth and business success, they are currently looking to recruit a Collections Agent, who will be based at their Newport branch.

As a Collections Agent you will quickly become an integral part of the business, assisting customers in financial difficulty. Joining part of a friendly and productive team, the Collections Agent will be responsible:

To work through a queue of collections cases which will involve every stage of arrears from initial default to pre-litigation

To make outbound and receive inbound calls from clients unable or unwilling to maintain payments

Negotiating payment plans to match client budgets and company requirements

Working within agreed SLAs and to challenging targets

Working within all company guidelines and with 100% adherence to FSA guidelines

We are looking to consider candidates with a strong background in Financial Services, Customer Service or Sales.

Negotiation experience would be beneficial.

All candidates must be able to pass a credit check.
