Client is a leading player in the area of website security services.   Currently looking to recruit an experienced Digital Project Manager for their London offices.

The Role

The Digital Project Manager will need to have a global vision of the business, its core processes and departments. They will have a solid understanding of the types and levels of users, market place and competition and they must have foresight in the trends of the industry and competition.

The Digital Project Manager serves as the key link between the Sales, Operations, Marketing, Accounting and Software Development teams. This role entails translating concepts, staff imperatives and business requirements into product / feature requirements and functional & non-functional requirements to build detailed and well defined user stories. You will be involved in all stages of a product or project lifecycle and will engage in a diverse set of activities analysing, reporting, managing and documenting the requirements, user stories and use cases.

As Digital Project Manager, you will also create documentation regarding new features as they are released and for the existing platform in place. You will be responsible also for producing & maintaining mixed media training materials including written documents, videos and webinars as well as a welcome pack for new starters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to prioritise product backlog & milestones and develop department road maps as well as a global road map
  • Ascertain requirements through interviews and meetings with product creators
    • Analyse user requirements, scope and work flow
    • Standardise & create templates to structure requirements
    • Plan & produce well defined user stories
    • Clearly define acceptance criteria
  • Update product backlog with the new user stories from requirements gathering process
  • Collaborate with QA to ensure requirements agreed before a sprint starts meet the expected outcome upon completion of development phase
  • Communicate out to key stakeholders of features soon to be released
    • Produce documentation to train users
    • Create feature use videos for future reference and quick recaps
    • Attend scrum with other departments and explain new features
    • Communicate delays and changes in requirements to stakeholders with reasons and expected delivery time if still applicable
  • Produce well defined and illustrated release notes that are sent company-wide to inform all internal users of updates to the platform
  • Produce documentation for existing features
    • Create instructional and informative documents, videos and webinars of existing features to effectively communicate the complexities and workflows in an easily digestible format

The Person

  • Excellent written & spoken English
  • An ability to liaise with both technical and non-technical staff
  • Strong analytical & problem solving skills
  • Highly observant
  • Experience in an agile environment
  • Basic understanding of web based technologies
  • A strong understanding of online user experiences and workflows
  • Ideally you will have exp. In a digital environment, co-ordinating and/or managing diverse front and back end projects.

Advantageous Skills

  • Design & prototyping abilities
  • Written and /or spoken French
