Teaching Assistant to support 1:1 with ASD

Randstad Education Liverpool is currently looking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated, engaging and caring teaching assistant to provide 1:1 support for two children with ASD at a Primary school in South Liverpool. The role is for an immediate start after half term until February 2017 but could go on longer depending on funding.

The successful applicant will:
*have appropriate qualifications and recent experience working in a Primary school
*experience of working with children with ASD
*knowledge of effective strategies that support children with ASD?s inclusion and development
*have excellent organisational skills
*be committed to high standards of work and behaviour
*have ability to relate to and communicate well with children
*Ability to carry out 1:1 support independantly and carry out assessments.

Previous experience of working as a Teaching Assistant with ASD is essential as well as an NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 qualification.
