Waking Nights Support Worker
Eastbourne, BN23
13 nights every 4 weeks

Our client provides comprehensive social care for older adults with a learning disability and is now recruiting for an experienced Waking Night Support Worker in the Eastbourne area to join their growing team.
They pride themselves on providing high quality personalised care in a homely environment in order to meet the needs of each and every resident, giving them choice, empowerment and fulfilment
Position Summary
As Support Worker, you will be required to undertake the following responsibilities in order to thrive within this role;
• Supporting individuals with complex and challenging needs to live fulfilling lives and you will have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the term Learning Disability
• Be reliable, compassionate, honest and patient
• Attend training to update and develop skills, this will include the care certificate
• Keep accurate records, write reports, deal with appointments, attend meetings and liaise with other professionals
Who are we looking for?
• All candidates must have strong experienced within a Waking Night Support Worker role
• You will be required to carry out tasks associated with this post which includes administering medication, report writing, providing personal care etc
• NVQ2 is desirable or you should be working towards it
• Excellent communication skills with a flexible attitude is essential
Employment offer is subject to Proof of Eligibility to Work in the UK, Enhanced DBS checks and satisfactory references.
