Using Norway and Somerset’s cheese-making secrets, our client creates specialist products that are praised by leading chefs from around the globe. They are now looking for a Shift Engineer to join their Engineering Team.

As a Shift Engineer, you’ll be responsible for ensuring a proactive response to engineering issues within our client’s food manufacturing facility. 

Reporting to the Engineer Manager, you’ll quickly react to any day-to-day problems and resolve a number of electrical and mechanical issues. 

Working alongside cross-functional teams, you’ll also ensure that all preventative maintenance tasks are performed to a high standard. 

To be considered for this role, you must have at least three years’ engineering experience gained within a manufacturing environment. Excellent time-management and problem-solving skills are also key. 

As a Shift Engineer, you must be a confident communicator who is highly motivated. You must also have an analytical mindset, strong organisational abilities and a team player mentality. 

Ideally, you will have multi-skilled mechanical and electrical engineering qualifications, but this is by no means essential. 

Please note, this is a full time role, working 6:00 – 14:00 or 14:00 – 22:00, Monday – Friday and occasionally on weekends.
