Sales Engineer - National and International

PhoenixTM is a young, rapidly expanding business, specialising in industrial temperature measurement systems. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a National and International Sales Engineer to join this expanding company to support plans for the future growth and development of their business in North America.

This is a diverse and exciting role within a small dynamic team offering significant opportunity for future development and career progression

As a Sales Engineer the duties will be:

• Customer visits, either supporting agents or as a direct sale visit, to demonstrate the system benefits including undertaking trials at customers plants.
• Lead generation and assisting with marketing activities.
• Develop and support a network of local representatives.
• Establish, Manage and Develop key account relationships.
• Equipment installation and training.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maximise all opportunities.
• Deliver a revenue budget within assigned territory.
• Take ownership of a territory and develop a sales pipeline.
• This is a technical consultative sales role where you will be responsible for understanding customer requirements and specifying the optimum solution over a wide range of applications.

An ideal Sales Engineer will have the following skills and experience:

• A driven and self-starter attitude.
• A tenacious yet structured approach with a "can do" attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, including making presentations at all levels.
• The ability to develop and deliver a territory plan.
• Previous experience in business to business sales.
• Previous experience in the sale of capital equipment and international sales are not essential, but would be a significant advantage.
• An engineering background and ideally qualified to at least HNC level in an Engineering discipline.

This position is based in Earith but will require travel throughout the UK and significant travel internationally.

In return you will receive on target earnings of between £30K and £50K subject to experience.
