JOB TITLE: Plumbing & Heating Sales Manager

THE COMPANY: Our client is the UK's largest independent builders' merchant, with 44 branches across England and Scotland. A position is now required for the company's Sheffield North branch.
THE ROLE: This is a great opportunity for a pro-active individual to take ownership of the sales and development of our lightside ranges.The overall aim for the Plumbing and Heating Sales Manager will be to establish and grow our client's customer base, maximise sales and profit and make our client the place of choice for all lightside supplies.
Key Responsibilities of a Plumbing & Heating Sales Manager to include:-
THE CANDIDATE: You will be encouraged and given the freedom to develop your own ideas that support the branch goals, effectively running a 'business within a business'. You should already be experienced within the industry, having operated at a supervisory or management level and also be someone with that extra drive and determination to make a real success of what you do. You should be confident, have excellent product knowledge, great attention to detail, a genuine commitment to providing excellent customer service and be able to develop and maintain great customer relationships. Being computer literate is also a must.
Experience within the builder's merchant industry is highly desirable but not essential as full product training can be given.

- To oversee the Plumbing and Heating department maximising revenue for the branch
- To assist with counter sales identifying opportunities with customers whilst in branch.
