JOB TITLE: Operations Manager
SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP12.50 per hour + flexible working, NHS pension scheme, 25 days holiday + 1 days birthday leave + canteen on site
WORKING HOURS: 37.5 hours per week
THE COMPANY: We are currently working with a compassionate and committed provider of clinical excellence in a medical practice based in Daventry with approximately 12,862 patients. Due to the current Operations Manager relocating they are now looking to appoint an experienced manager to join the successful, innovative and friendly team.
THE ROLE: As an Operations Manager you will be responsible for managing staff and services within the Operations Team. You will be responsible for contributing towards the achievement of the practice's strategic plan, overall business aims and operational targets set. You will also be directly responsible for the day to day operational running of the practice ensuring an effective high quality service is provided to patients.
Key Responsibilities of an Operations Manager to include:-
THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate will need to have excellent communication skills written and verbal. You will need to be comfortable in driving teams to meet objectives and support the practice in seeking and delivering revenue opportunities. Ideally you will have experience working in a public sector/healthcare environment.

- Manage data collection to support data requirements/claims
- Recruit, manage and retain staff within budget constraints
- Provide admin support to the clinical and research staff
- To market services to ensure optimum local uptake
- Participate in the performance monitoring review of the team, providing feedback as appropriate
- Encourage others to make realistic self-assessment of their application of knowledge and skills
- Recommend and implement changes to improve the efficiency of the practice
- Undertake mandatory and statutory training
THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate will need to have excellent communication skills written and verbal. - Have held a managements position in a customer or patient care environment
- Experience of working in an office environment
- Excellent organisation skills
- Be comfortable driving teams to meet objectives
- High self-confidence required to deal with senior people, internally and externally
- Competence in Microsoft Office packages
- Lives within a commutable distance to Daventry
